Rest parameters work by taking multiple items and putting them into a containing array. Basically, it takes multiple things and packs it into one thing.

There are a couple of differences between rest parameters and the arguments object: a) rest parameters are only the ones that haven’t been given a separate name, while the arguments object contains all arguments passed to the function, b) the arguments object is not a real array, while rest parameters are Array instances. Rest parameters also work well with destructuring.
